Clare County Family Loses Everything in House Fire

Posted: Updated:

A Clare County family is devastated after losing everything in an early morning house fire.

Four adults and three children, including a 5-month-old baby, made it out safely. The family thinks it started near the chimney.

Police and local fire departments in Clare County rushed to the house near Harrison around 9:30 am.

The family is very shaken up but relieved that everyone made it out okay.

9&10's Katie Boomgaard talked with a family friend who is trying to help the family get back on their feet.

If you would like to help donate to the family they ask that you call Jennifer Reed at 989-424-0814 or 989-386-3298.
