MTM On the Road: Camp Rotary

Posted: Updated:

Outdoor education might be foreign to some, but for students at Lake City and Manton schools, it's a right of passage.

6th grade camp is happening right now at Camp Rotary in Clare.

All 6th graders from Manton and Lake City visit camp for one week each year.

They participate in activities like ice fishing, pond study, Indian lore, and climbing the tower.

Camp is crucial for them to meet new friends and get outside.

Half of students visited last week, and today the second half arrived for their week of fun.
