Feedback at 5:00: Tanning Beds

Posted: Updated:

Scientists think they know why some people just can’t resist indoor tanning.

Researchers in Texas looked at people's brain activity while they were inside a tanning bed.

They found blood flow patterns in the brain were similar to what happens in drug addicts.

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, indoor tanners are 74 percent more likely to develop melanoma than those who have never tanned indoors.

Do you use tanning beds? Why or why not? It’s tonight’s “Feedback at 5:00.”
