Feedback at 5:00: Michigan Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Posted: Updated:

As we told you yesterday, big changes could be ahead for hunting and fishing licenses in Michigan.

Last month, Governor Snyder proposed overhauling the licensing system.

The DNR says the plan could generate 18 million more dollars for the department by increasing the price for some licenses.

All hunters would be required to purchase a $10 base license that would cover small game and waterfowl.

Some worry the increased rates could discourage some hunters.

The DNR says it could be October before anything is approved, and would not go into effect until the 2014 season.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00" we wanted to know, do you agree with the proposed changes or do you think things should stay as they are?
