UPDATE: "Extremely Dangerous" Suspect in Traverse City Faces Charges

The man accused of pointing a gun at a house full of people in Traverse City is now facing charges for the crimes.

Police say Tahca Milk, who had several warrants out for his arrest, pulled the gun out at a home on Hannah Street in Traverse City Saturday night.

They say the gun was stolen.

Milk was arrested last night, he was hiding at a home in Grand Traverse County.

The prosecutor's office says Milk is now facing charges with felony firearm, and this being his third offense, he could go in front of a judge as soon as tomorrow.

Police say Tahca Milk has been arrested.

Around 6:00 tonight detectives and officers executed a search warrant in Garfield Township.

Officers found Milk who was hiding inside.

He is currently being taken to the Grand Traverse County jail, where he will be held on several charges.

Traverse City Police are searching for a suspect who is considered extremely dangerous.

Officers say Tahca Takiya-Mahpiya Milk, a Native American man, pulled out a gun at a party and pointed it at people on the 800 Block of Hannah Street around 10:30 Saturday night.

When police got to the scene, the suspect was gone. Several people at the party were able to take the fully loaded Taurus .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun from him.

Police say the weapon had been stolen from a home in Leelanau County earlier this year.

There are several warrants out for the suspect right now. Police want your help finding him, but emphasize that they do not want anyone to try to detain him.
