Roscommon High School Supports Student Diagnosed With Cancer

A Northern Michigan basketball team will be playing for a teammate tonight who as just diagnosed with cancer.

Nathan Compo found out he had cancer on Wednesday and had emergency surgery today.

Roscommon High School will be playing Houghton Lake tonight and raising money for cancer research.

Many people will be wearing Nathan's number, 32.

Students signed a large banner today to show their support.

The team works with Houghton Lake every year to raise money through the play for the cure event.

The game starts around 7:30 tonight.
