Joseph Seeberger of Portage caught the record breaking fish on Lake Bellaire in Antrim County on October 13th.
Seeberger first broke the Michigan state record and now is listed as a world record holder by the International Committee of the Modern Day Muskellunge World Record Program.
The fish weighed 58 pounds and was 58 inches long with a girth of 29 inches.
