In this update, an Oceana County man accused of drowning his wife in the family's bath tub will stand trial in June.

Police say Timothy Shannon killed his wife Lee-Ann at their home in Hart just four days after Christmas.

Prosecutors say autopsy results released yesterday confirmed she drowned.

Shannon told police his wife accidentally drowned and he tried to revive her.

He was a Hart City Council member at the time of her death.

His trial is slated to begin June 19th.
