Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: 12:00 p.m.: Big Rapids and Ferris State Police are currently treating this as a crime scene.

The Ferris State student was found Nicholas Suttles in a snow bank on the 800 block of Division, barely alive.

Police are looking at the surveillance video from nearby businesses for some insight as to how he got there.

One man I spoke with said he watched emergency crews work on the man for about 20 minutes.

The man was airlifted to Grand Rapids and his current status is unknown.
