UPDATE: Grand Traverse Deputy Who Admitted To Disturbing the Peace No Longer Works for Department

Posted: Updated:

A Grand Traverse County Deputy, who admitted to disturbing the peace, no longer works with the Department.

The Sheriff tells 9&10 News that they fired Ryan Salisbury, following an internal investigation into an incident that happened at the Union Street Station, back in December.

Salisbury was accused of attacking his girlfriend at the bar.

He later took a plea deal.

The Sheriff's Office says, because of Salisbury's actions they felt letting him go from the department was appropriate action.
