UPDATE: Stranded Cruise Ship in Gulf of Mexico

Posted: Updated:

10:15 PM UPDATE: The Carnival cruise ship Triumph that has been stranded in the Gulf of Mexico since Sunday, has arrived at the Mobile, Alabama docking terminal.

All passengers were of the ship by the early morning hours.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ship lost power Sunday and two tugboats have been slowly towing it to Mobile, Alabama.

It was supposed to arrive this afternoon, but one of the tow lines has broke and now they aren't set to return until late tonight.

Conditions on board have been described as "disgusting".

Passengers say raw sewage is all over the ship and in the cabins.

Many have made signs to hang over the side of the boat; desperate pleas for help.

Crews have been able to deliver supplies to those on board, but food has still be scarce.

Carnival says all passengers will be refunded and offered a free cruise through Carnival.
