Driver Leads Police On Chase Through Isabella County

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: A woman and her passenger both face charges, after a wild police chase through Isabella County.

A deputy saw a car driving erratically down Pickard Road, Wednesday night, but when he tried pulling the driver over, she took off and ran a stop sign.

She ended up losing control near Nottawa Road.

They say she spun out, ran off the road, and hit a power pole, knocking out electricity for the area.

None of the four people in the car were hurt.

Deputies say the driver told them she sped off because she had drugs in the car.

She faces numerous charges including driving while drunk and fleeing and eluding police.

A passenger was also arrested for having Marijuana.
