Michigan High Schoolers Graduating at Higher Rate

Good news for our State, High Schoolers are graduating at a higher rate.

State education officials say the 2012 Graduation Rate was 76.2%.

The year before it was 74.3%.

Students in the 2011 Graduating Class were the first to follow tougher math and science requirements to graduate.

The dropout rate for last year's class was 10.7%, down from just over 11% in 2011 and 2010.
