UPDATE: Registered Sex Offender Will Spend 1 Year On Probation

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: A registered sex offender, who was left alone with an elementary school basketball team, will spend one year on probation.

Back in November, Jared Buchner was left with Cherry Knoll Elementary's young basketball team after the coach, his wife Jessica, left the gym.

The principal had an uneasy feeling and decided to check Buchner's background and learned he was a registered sex offender.

Jessica Buchner was fired immediately.

Court records reveal Jared Buchner was placed on the Offender Registry ten years ago, when he was charged with sex crimes.
