Wolf Tracking in the Lower Peninsula

The State Department of Natural Resources is trying to determine they presence of gray wolves in the Lower Peninsula.

A wolf track survey starts today and will run through March.

Officials as you to report all sightings of wolves and their tracks to the Gaylord DNR.

Teams will respond to areas where there have been sightings.

Wolves began their comeback in the 1990's and spread across the U.P.
