The former head of the Lake County 9-11 will get her $350,000 payout from a lawsuit.
The Michigan Supreme Court reinstated the verdict for Cheryl Debano-Griffin.
She lost her job when she complained money was being misspent.
Griffin then filed a Whistle-Blower's Lawsuit against Lake County Commissioners.
She won the trial, but the case has twice been to the State Appeals Court and Supreme Court.
Debano-Griffin's troubles began in 2002, when she objected to an ambulance being used for people living in other counties.
She also reported that money from a property tax for ambulance service was put in another county's account.
