Freakin' Freezing Challenge to Take Place in Mount Pleasant

Posted: Updated:

Many will be bundled up tomorrow morning as they participate in the first annual Freakin' Freezing Challenge.

The challenge isn't necessarily the cold, but a 5K obstacle course.

The course will go through the park system in Mount Pleasant.

300 participants will be faced with challenges like a log carry, army crawl, and bridge tunnel along the way.

Organizers of the event say they are happy with last night's snowfall because it will make the event that much better.

If you didn't sign up this year, there will be designated spectator spots to watch the race, and after it's over, a party will be held at Mountain Town Station.
