Posted: Updated:

Wexford County Central Dispatch received a call around 8:00 Friday morning for a one car accident at the McDonalds restaurant in Haring Township.

Deputies say the driver of the car, Jennifer Smith of Manton, was at the drive-through when she dropped her credit card on the ground.

She opened her door to pick up the card when her car suddenly moved forward, pinning the woman between her car and the building.

McDonalds employees, along with witnesses, were able to move the car and free Smith

She was taken to Munson Hospital in Traverse City where she is in critical condition.
