Feedback at 5:00: Governor Snyder's Budget

Governor Rick Snyder just delivered his 2014 budget year proposal in Lansing.

He is asking lawmakers to raise the gas tax and expand Medicaid to more uninsured, and to put more money into early childhood education.

The governor also wants more state funding to pay for additional Michigan State Police troopers to patrol our streets.

Other topics included expanding dental care for to provide more children with dental care, creating a natural disaster fund, and higher hunting and fishing license fees to help boost funding for the Department of Natural Resources.
