National Signing Day Coverage: CMU, Ferris State and more

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday was National Signing Day all across the country.  Here in Northern Michigan, many local high school student athletes officially made their college plans known by signing their National Letters of Intent to play at the next level.

The CMU football program signed 21 recruits including Cadillac offensive lineman Jack Ford and St. Ignace linebacker Joe Ostman.

Ferris State announced an impressive 32 player recruiting class with three local prep standouts: Big Rapids offensive lineman Jake Daugherty, Kingsley linebacker Tristan Eickenroth and Gladwin quarterback Landon Grove.

We also made our way to Signing Day ceremonies at Traverse City Central, Traverse City West and Elk Rapids on Wednesday.
