UPDATE: Traverse City Police Arrest a Man for Child Porn

In this update, a Traverse City man will spend 4 months in jail for having child pornography.

Police say James Knight had a technician from an online support service repair his computer in September.

That tech contacted police after finding inappropriate pictures of young children on Knight's computer.

Police searched his home and discovered more than 80 printed photos of child porn and several VHS tapes.

Knight pleaded guilty to the crimes back in April.

Traverse City police have arrested a man, after they say child porn was found on his computer.

Police tell 9&10 News that James Knight had an online support service repair his computer back in September.

The technician contacted police after finding images of children between the ages of 5 and 11 years old on Knight's computer.

Court records show upon searching Knight's home, police discovered more than 80 printed photos of child porn and numerous VHS tapes.

Marijuana was also found at Knight's home.

He is now charged for the crimes.
