Feedback at 5:00: U.S. Postal Service Cut Backs

Posted: Updated:

After losing $16 Billion last year, the United States Post Office is expected to end Saturday delivery for first class mail, beginning in August.

Delivery of priority mail, packages, and medicine will continue.

It's a move that is expected to save the struggling agency $2 billion a year. The USPS has already cut back hours and trimmed it's workforce by 35%.

The Post Office had asked Congress to pass a reform bill to give it more flexibility to modernize and streamline service, but was never given approval.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00" what do you think of the plan to cut back at the Post Office?
