Reed City Business Hoping Reward Helps Catch Break-In Suspect

Posted: Updated:

A Reed City business is hoping a reward helps in catching the criminals who broke into their store.

The break-in happened Friday night at Grow Your Own Gardens and the owner is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Someone got away with nearly $3,500 worth of items from the store.

Some customers pre-paid for the items stolen, so when they came to pick up the items, the owner had to tell them their tools had been stolen.

All the equipment stolen could be used to grow a large scale medical marijuana operation.

If you have any information, please call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 231-832-2288.
