Former High School Soccer Coach Accused of Having Sex with Student

A former high school soccer coach, facing sex crime charges. He's accused of a long relationship with a student.

Mason County Sheriffs Department is investigating Todd Johnson who is accused of having sex with a former player.

During the investigation, they found the relationship started in 2006, when the victim was 13 years old.

Police say the victim became one of Coach Johnson's players.

Johnson resigned as the Mason County Central girls varsity soccer coach after the investigation started 6 months ago.

Johnson is out of jail on bond and will be back in court next week. If convicted, Johnson faces up to 15 years in prison.
