Autism Peer Activity League Looks to Service More Families

Posted: Updated:

An autism support group in Sault Ste. Marie is looking to expand its reach.

The Autism Peer Activity League provides support to families with autism.

The group meets once a month at St. Mary's School.

The children have a chance to interact and the parents take part in educational meetings.

Coming up Monday, there is an open house at Minneapolis Hill, that includes food, entertainment and education.

Registration for that event ends Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

To register, or for other information on how to join A-PAL, call Geri Taeckens at 906-635-3439.
