Winter Comedy Arts Festival to Welcome Some Big Names

Posted: Updated:

The 2013 Winter Comedy Arts Festival is just weeks away, and some pretty big names are coming to the Cherry Capital.

The festival is hosted by the Traverse City Film Festival along with the National Cherry Festival. Last year's festival was canceled; the Winter Microbrew and Music Festival and the Comedy Arts Fest both wanted the same weekend.

Former "Saturday Night Live" star, Colin Quinn, will be opening this year's festival on Valentine's Day. Doug Benson, from the movie,"Road Trip", will be at the festival on Friday the 15th. The Writer and Director of the ESPY's, Neal Brennan, will also be in town performing, and new this year, there will be an ice rink on Front Street.
