MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan Chippewas' women's basketball team topped the 90-point mark for the second straight game, as they improved to 7-0 in the Mid-American Conference with a 91-44 blowout win over Kent State.

CMU got a balanced scoring effort.  Twelve of the 13 Chippewas to see game action recorded points.  Jalisa Olive led the Chippewas with 13 points.

This marks the first time the Chippewas have started a conference season 7-0 since the 1983-84 season, and just the second time in program history.
