MTM On The Road: New Animal Shelter a Labor of Love

Posted: Updated:

Any animal lover will tell you, there is nothing that can describe the love you have for a pet.

The Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County is a brand new shelter in Big Rapids.

Newly constructed, this building features a special heating and cooling system which eliminates smells and circulates fresh air to the animals.

Both dogs and cats are housed here and all are available for adoption.

Hundreds of volunteers help to manage and run the operation.

Visit the link to the left of this story for more information on the Animal Rescue Coalition of Mecosta County.

Kalin and Stephanie visited the shelter and met some wonderful animals looking for a forever home.
