Traverse City Business Works to Get Back Up and Running After Devastating Fire

Posted: Updated:

The Traverse City Fire Chief says they are wrapping up their investigation for today into where the fire started, and what caused it at Arrow Roofing and Total Sheet Metal; they will be back on scene tomorrow.

The fire was reported by someone passing by just after 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Crews worked for more than five hours trying to put out the flames; no one was inside. The first priority for crews was keeping the fire away from any hazardous material. Crews say the damage is extensive, and those who work there say the fires hasn't destroyed their desire to continue their work.

9&10's Sara Simnitch, and Photojournalist Jeremy Erickson, talked to the Manager today on how they are planning to re-build.
