The next time you swipe your card at the store, you may want to choose debit, instead of credit.
That's because stores can now charge new fees to customers, up to 3% more.
But, the fee doesn't apply to debit transactions.
It's all part of a settlement between nine banks, Visa, and Mastercard.
The settlement says stores can now pass on the fees that the credit card issuers make them pay.
