Hockey players played in a different atmosphere today.
Men and women grabbed their hockey gear and headed to Lake Cadillac where the Cadillac Area Hockey Association put on the Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Tournament.
About a dozen teams sharpened their skates and cleared the ice, all while enjoying Northern Michigan's great outdoors.
The pond hockey tournament raised money for the area youth hockey players.
