Terry Berden Receives Distinguished Service Award

A small business owner was recognized for his achievements at Traverse City's Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration.

But it's what he does outside the office that got him noticed.

Terry Berden, President of Great Lakes Stainless in Traverse City, took home the prestigious Distinguished Service Award.

Terry's hours of volunteer work in the community, as well countless acts of kindness were what made him stand out.

He says he was at a loss for words when he realized he had won.

Terry says that he and his wife are going to celebrate by leaving for a trip to Hawaii tomorrow.
