Thieves Steal Thousands of Dollars in Tools From Osceola County Business

Posted: Updated:

Police are trying to figure out who broke into an Osceola County auto repair shop overnight and stole thousands of dollars in tools.

The owner of Barnett's Auto Repair says more than $60,000 in tools were taken from the building.

Thieves shattered the front door to get inside. Two large mechanic's tool boxes were taken, along with computers and other tools. The shop had to close on Friday because of the break-in.

Police are hoping someone might have seen something suspicious Thursday night and will help them track down suspects.

They are looking for possible connections to other recent break-ins in the area.

The repair shop hopes to reopen on Monday.

9 and 10's Kyle Mitchell and Photojournalist Tony Zyber have the latest on the search for suspects.
