Cheboygan Man Arrested for OWI and Child Abuse

Police arrested a man yesterday for disorderly conduct, but further investigation led to even more.

The Cheboygan County Sheriff spotted Matthew Walker urinating in the parking lot outside the County building.

Police discovered Walker had two children in his car and was intoxicated.

He is now charged with operating while intoxicated, and two counts of child abuse/4th degree endangerment.

Walker faces up to a year in prison and will appear in court on February 7th.
