Feedback at 5:00: Organ Donations

Posted: Updated:

More than 3,000 people in Michigan are waiting for the call that could save their life: news that they are getting a badly needed organ.

Michigan's Secretary of State is launching a new license plate designed to encourage people to donate organs and tissues.

The cost of the plates included a $25 donation to promote organ donation.

About 3 million people are now on the state's organ donation registry.

Do you know anyone whose life has been impacted by an organ donation? Are you signed up to be an organ donor?

Share your stories with us for tonight's "Feedback at 5:00."

To the left of this story, you can find a link to the Secretary of State's page discussing the new license plates.
