Clare County House Fire Being Called Suspicious

A fire destroyed a Clare County home, burning it right to the ground.

Investigators are calling the fire in Freeman Township suspicious and they're turning to neighbors to help them determine what may have caused it.

Neighbors say the fire shocked them, but what else may have been happening in the home before the fire frightens them even more.

Neighbors believe there may have been drug activity going on in the home.
