UPDATE: More than a year after two people were shot and killed at a local gas station, the trial of their accused killer has begun.
Jury selection for the trial of Blake Hullihen began Tuesday morning and sat before witness testimony Wednesday, in Reed City.
He is charged with shooting his ex-wife and another man at the Citgo Gas Station, on the corner of M-66 and M-115 in Middle Branch Township, in Osceola County.
Back in June, he was found ready for trial after his father and other witnesses testified against him.
His father said his son confessed to shooting the pair, so he drove his son directly to the Clare County Sheriff's home.
The witness questioning continues this morning, when the trail starts back up at 8:45 AM.
