Isabella County Embezzlement, Forgery, and Fraud Arrest

A Mount Pleasant woman was arrested for committing multiple crimes over a three year period.

Stephanie Lyon was arrested and arraigned on charges of embezzlement of more than $20,000, forgery, and fraud.

Lyon worked as an accountant for local Mt. Pleasant company, Smith and Son's Meat Packing.

She double-signed and cashed 63 checks, 10 of which were produced and forged.

The case remains under investigation.
