UPDATE: I-75 Reopened After Tanker Rollover

Posted: Updated:

The Mackinaw County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the section of I-75 that was closed down yesterday, is back open.

The roadway was reopened around 2:30 Saturday morning after police say two separate accidents happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, both about 15 miles north of St. Ignace near exit 359.

One accident involved one passenger vehicle, and the other a propane tanker carrying 12-thousand gallons of propane.

There was no leakage of propane.

Drivers from both accidents were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
