Mount Pleasant Hosts Michigan Infrastructure And Transportation Associations Annual Conference

Posted: Updated:

Governor Snyder proposed fixing Michigan Roads in his State of the State Speech this week, and Thursday, infrastructure leaders met to get the ball rolling.

The Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association's Annual Conference was held today to talk about the proposed changes, coming to Michigan's Roadways.

Key legislators discussed and debated the issues of Michigan's Infrastructure and Transportation needs.

There are challenges that lie ahead for M-DOT, when it comes to our roads, but say they are going to continue to work hard to fix Michigan's Infrastructure, to ensure safety on our roads and a boost to the economy.

"They're going to be the leaders that are gonna help move this through and solve this problem," says the Director of MDOT, Kirk T. Steudle.

They say the proposed changes have been years in the making.
