Traverse City is on the national radar for being a great getaway.
The website, Away.com, named the Cherry Capital as the best four-day vacation.
The Traverse City Convention and Visitors Bureau says the site is known for adding cities across the country to lists ranging from a short weekend getaway, to a place to visit for a long stay.
The site notes Traverse City as being a popular place for people who live in-state to travel to, and adds that celebrity chef, Mario Batali has called it "truly magnificent".
