Snowmobilers Ditched the Bare Trails for the Track Today

Posted: Updated:

Snowmobile lovers ditched the bare trails for the track today.

Hundreds of snowmobilers gathered today to show off their speed and skills at Shanty Creek Resorts.

Michigan Extreme Racing hosted the MXR Sno X shoot out where kids, semi-pro and pro snowmobile racers revved their engines and put their machines to the test.

MXR tells 9&10 News that today's turnout was the biggest they have seen in years.

Their goal was to keep the economy going and people active during this time where there is little snow.
