Coast Guard Encourages Youth to turn "Fear into Excitement"

Posted: Updated:

Traverse City Coast Guard helped youth reach for the stars today.

The Coast Guard Air Station held an All-Aviation Expo, to help young people get up close and personal with helicopters, airplanes, gliders, hot air balloons, and rockets.

The event was a cooperative effort with aviation enthusiasts and the community, mostly targeting youth.

They hope to be able to motivate young Americans to chase after their dreams and elevate their interests in aviation by becoming more familiar with aircrafts.
