Morbark Industries Acquires Boxer Equipment, Adding Jobs

Morbark Industries is known worldwide for wood chippers.

Last week the company acquired Boxer Equipment, expanding into the market of mini-skid steers.

Morbark is bringing the new work to Isabella County and expanding their operations in Winn.

That's creating jobs in the process.

Mini-skid steers versatile machines that can be customized for numerous jobs, making them helpful in tree removal but also in numerous other markets, expanding Morbark's client base.

They will be made right here in Northern Michigan, meaning Morbark will need help with the new line of products.
