UPDATE: Ogemaw County Man Charged for Second Bank Robbery

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: An Ogemaw County man is now charged with robbing an Ogemaw County bank and for fleeing the police

Police say Bruce Standridge used an article disguised as a weapon to rob the Northland Credit Union in Skidway Lake this past December.

Officers arrested Standridge after they say he tried to speed away from them in his vehicle after the robbery.

Ending in an accident, Standridge was the only one injured and was treated at a local hospital.

Standridge tried robbing a bank back in 2005, making this his second offence.

Standridge's preliminary examination is set for January 15, 2013 and his bond was set at 1 million dollars.
