FSU Hockey Player One of 77 Nominees As College Hockey's Top Player

Ferris State University hockey player one of 77 nominees for the 2013 Hobey Baker Award.

Bulldog senior left wing Kyle Bonis was announced today as one of the top college hockey players.

Fan voting opened today, click on the link to the left of this story to vote.

The first phase of fan voting will run until March 10th. Then phase 2 will begin, which will showcase the top 10 Hobey baker finalists.

Earlier this season, Bonis was selected as 1 of 20 candidates for the 2012-13 Senior CLASS Award in collegiate hockey.

Bonis is placed third among FSU's scoring leaders a season ago with 30 points. He had a squad second-best 19 goals and added 11 assists in playing all 43 contests. Bonis' totals included 3 game-winning goals and 4 power-play markers last campaign.
