Hook & Hunting: Bobcat Hunting Season Begins

Bobcat hunting season has begun!

The hunting season is from January 1st until March 1st for Units A, B, and C but for Unit D it goes until February 1st.

The season bag limit is 2 per person; only 1 bobcat may be taken from Units C or D combined; only 1 may be taken from Unit B.

Hunting bobcats also requires a free kill tag, available from license agents or any DNR center.

You must have a valid fur harvester license to hunt fox, bobcat, coyote or raccoon, and trap badger, bobcat, fisher, marten, fox, coyote, weasel, mink, raccoon, muskrat, beaver, otter, skunk or opossum.
