Michigan State Police Investigating Two Vehicle Accident that Sent All Those Involved to Hospital

At approximately 4:30 PM on Sunday, State Police Troopers from the Hart Post were called to a serious injury crash on 120th Street near Pear Street, in Ensley Township, Newago County.

A preliminary investigation shows two vehicles were involved.

The first vehicle was West-bound on 120th Street, lost control, and crossed the centerline.

The second vehicle was East-bound on 120th Street and was unable to avoid striking the other vehicle.

All three occupants of the second vehicle were transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

While two of those occupants are in stable condition, the third is in critical care.

The single occupant of the first vehicle that crossed the centerline, was transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital and is in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation, however, it does not appear alcohol or drugs were a factor.

All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts.
