Indiana Residents Injured in Rollover Accident in Mecosta County

A couple of Fort Wayne, Indiana residents were hospitalized in Mecosta County, after a one vehicle accident, on Saturday.

Deputies say it happened shortly before Noon, on US-131 near 17 Mile, in Big Rapids Township.

They say a southbound vehicle over corrected while changing lanes, went off the road, slid sideways, and overturned into a tree.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicles.

However, he was not seriously hurt; he and one of his three backseat passengers, were treated for minor injuries at the Mecosta County Medical Center.
