New Homeless Shelter Opening in Big Rapids

Posted: Updated:

In April a small group of people noticed a growing homeless problem in the Big Rapids area.

They set out to help their needy neighbors and that work has culminated into the area's first homeless shelter, Our Brother's Keeper.

The shelter opens it's doors tomorrow night at 8 PM.

The shelter can hold up to 25 people, offering beds, toiletries, showers and food.

9&10's Eric Lloyd toured the new shelter today and has more details.
